Samantha Rahaman
(Psychotherapist RSW #828959) Working Counsellor: Online Sessions
Hi, my name is Samantha,
I am a psychotherapist (RSW) with a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, dedicated to fostering connection, collaboration, and compassion. My goal is to support you in exploring your unique story, addressing challenges, and moving toward meaningful growth and healing.
I have a particular interest in areas such as infertility, cancer care, pregnancy, parenting, and navigating intergenerational trauma. These experiences can be deeply complex and emotionally challenging, but they also provide opportunities for profound healing and transformation. I believe therapy should be as unique as you are, and together, we will tailor your journey to align with your individual needs, goals, and experiences.
I use evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These modalities help clients process unresolved experiences, develop resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths to foster empowerment and well-being.
In addition to individual work, I specialize in working with couples, recognizing how life’s challenges can impact an ever-evolving relationship. Whether navigating significant life events, improving communication, or deepening connection, I provide a supportive space to help couples strengthen their bond and work toward shared growth.
Your healing journey is uniquely yours, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as we work together toward a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with your true self.
